33 c bottle at home. Bought this in August 2017 at Burg Bierfestival (Ermelo) (from the brewer) so this is almost 2 years old. Pours a deep dark brown colour, not opaque black. Firm rocky beige head with pretty long retention. Aroma's: soft roasted, a bit mocha, slightly oxydized, sweetish. Retronasal it's light sweet, a bit fruity, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and roasted, a bit drop/licorice. Light medium bodied. Light roasty bitter finish. Decent, but not memorable, but I might have to retry with a fresher bottle.

this is exceptional. never enough baltic porters in the world, especially ones at this level, this is what i think about and dream about when i am fantasizing about the style. its nearly flawless from a technical standpoint, has a fair degree of yeast character, a ton of body, a slick coal black appearance with a tall tan head on it, and a lagered sort of crispness and maturity with a nice bitter roasty quality and cool complexities of coffee, burnt cigar, and wet soil. they did an awesome job building up the body and the grain depth while also keeping it plenty dry. i like that the yeast has as much flavor as it does in here too, gives this a really rounded out and balanced vibe, even without any appreciable hops here, the dark grains add all the bitterness it needs. its sneaky strong too, while it has good structure, it doesnt ever taste or feel particularly alcoholic. overall a great success of a recipe with professional and meticulous execution. i was a huge fan of this, and hope to get the chance to drink up more of their beers in the future. this was the first i had ever heard of these guys, but its way too good to go unnoticed for long...
