Drinks like a darker nut brown ale. If you drink it blindly, it is enjoyable. If you are looking for the roastiness and hop profile of an American Porter, you won't find it.

(Sent to me as part of a football bet with a Packers fan... Go Seahawks !!)
12 Oz bottle . No bottling information
Pours a solid black/red cola colored body with an off white head. No visible carbonation. Small amount of retention little lacing
Smell is sweet and malt forward. A roasted malt scent overall
This sweet and roasted malt scent folds right into the taste. I'm getting a big taste of fresh plums and cherries. A slightly bitter hop finish. Very nice !
Feel is watery and desperately in need of carbonation
This beer was all over the map for me. I really enjoyed the taste ( I almost gave that aspect a better grade) But I didn't like the feel (I almost gave that aspect a worse grade) This beer was sent to me by someone who lives in Waterloo WI, where it's brewed. So I'm pretty sure the sample was fresh.
If they figure out the carbonation issues and this could be a great beer...

Pours a clear , dark amber. Loose, meager head dissipates quickly. Aroma of roasted grains is barely there. Tastes of nuts and chocolate but finishes quickly. Thin mouthfeel.
