This is a 12oz. bottle gently poured into a pint glass There is a small tan layer of foam over a dark amber ale. The carbonation started out with a lot but has since settled down to a medium light amount of small bubbles.
The aroma is a sweet malty aroma. Very noticeable.
The flavor perfectly follows the nose, nice sweet roasted malts, very little bitterness, just a fresh crisp finish.
The feel is medium with some carbonation on the tongue.
Nothing fancy here, just a good, smooth, tasty, Irish Red Ale.
I picked this up at the cheese factory in Watertown, a pleasant surprise. I will make a point of stopping at the brew pub some day while driving through Hubbleton.
