High fermentation beer, (English Imperial Stout). Brilliantly dark in color with a dense chocolate colored head, Poch´s Imperial Stout has a medium body that is very well balanced with toasted notes that are present in both its color and aroma.

Colour: pitch black, no transparency. Light brown, low head. Melts moderately quickly into a thin layer and remains so until the end of tasting. Paints beautifully on the glass.
The aroma is sweet, chocolatey, roasted, coffee-like with notes of dry herbs and grass.
The aroma is moderately intense and, most importantly, "Spanish".
The taste is dry, but not as strong as the description suggests (IBU110). The bitterness is dry, rough and roasted. It seems to be muted by the malt sweetness. There are delicate sour notes in the finish.
The alcohol is treacherously hidden. Medium carbonation. Full-bodied, high. The texture is pleasantly smooth. The aftertaste is long and dry.

22 Jun 2021. De Labirratorium. En copa Teku. Jugando a Carto. Imperial stout con notas ahumadas y algo rancias aunque sin llegar a desagradar del todo. Avg 3.06

19 Abril 2024. De OkassionalBeer. En copa Teku. Jugando a Ratchet y Clank Drift Apart. Imperial stout sin adjuntos bastante bien hecha, con un agradable perfil tostado con notas amargas que recuerdan a una black IPA.
