On draught in The Ship Inn on a warm, late summer afternoon. Perfect black with a one finger, mocha head that lasted to the bottom of the glass. Roasted coffee nose. Smooth, coffee & cocoa stout with subtle sweetness. Lovely, velvety mouthfeel. Best stout I’ve drunk on draught for a long time. Looking around, popular with other drinkers on a Saturday lunchtime, which is a good sign.
