440mL can from online supermarket. BBE 11/11/2025.

Appearance: Cloudy orange-yellow with minimal head.

Smell: Herbal hops, citrus, lychee, pine, mango

Taste: Sweet mango and malt biscuit, orange, apple cider, lemon, mild-moderate bitterness. Finishes on pine needles and hop resin bitterness/astringency.

Feel: Smooth wth low-moderate carbonation, and a slight acidity.

Overall: A very good, well balanced DIPA. The only obvious flaw, which is minor, is the lack of head.

Copenhagen 15/1 2021. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgaard, web-sho. Salt's usual design with fine neto of hexagons woven together with a red background.

Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles rhin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, fermented fruitiness oozing with alcohol mingling with gentle citric fumes. Mango and papaya. Booze and decay. Citrus and melon.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with boozy, sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry with a light boozy burn.

Potent and boozy DIPA - a bit on the sweet side.

Murky tangerine with a light frothy head.
Gentle aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Mainly orange with some lychee.
Tastes similar and somewhat more robust. A bitter hop completion.
Smooth feel. The alcohol is well hidden. Chewy.
The alcohol prevents me from gulping this.

440ml Can from Tesco supermarket (£3):
Hazy & pale golden with a 3cm, foamy white head that holds well & leaves some lacing on the sides too. It's fruity smelling with plenty tropical fruits, mainly mango & passionfruit with pine hop oils & citrus. The taste was quite strong with mango, pine hops & a touch of alcohol kicking things off with a citrus, light apricot & hop oil backing. It's a thick beer with a dry, bitter finish that was slightly warming thanks to the alcohol showing slightly.
