Copenhagen 23/1 2021. 44 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgård web-shop. Salt’s usual design with a web of hexagons this time on a turquoise can. They call it “juicy” and “smooth” themselves.

Pours opaque hazy and a bit murky, pale yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with a subdued sweet odor of lightly fermented exotic fruit mingling with a stronger citric scent and hints of mustard. Peach and pineapple. Citrus and grape fruit.

Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, tingling texture.

Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.

Not too boozy and fairly bitter. Fine DIPA.

Amazing Double Neipa, poured from a can - peachy opaque colour and one finger head, extremely juicy tropical and grape juice while tasting natural. Slightly thin mouthfeel helps to wash away any bitterness which is low anyway. Very smooth with moderate carbonation. Top quality

440ml Can from Morrisons (£3.50):
A thick & hazy peach colour with a foamy white head that covers the surface but is quite thin. The nose is tropical & fresh with pine hops, orange peel & citrus then some peach, mango & stone fruits. It's very juicy tasting too, mango & peach upfront with a pine hop bitterness, orange & apricot flavours & a really juicy feel. It's fresh & quite full-bodied with light carbonation & a tonne of bitterness at the end; really nice stuff.
