Copenhagen 12/2 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Green version of Salt's usual can design with a net of hexagons giving it a bee hive look. Tropical and bitter is the tagline.
Pours hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with a dry, citric scent. Sweet peach, pine apple and melon. Citrus and lime. A bit acerbic.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, tinging texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice dry and citric NEIPA. More bitter than tropical.
