Copenhagen 14/2 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Salt’s usual design with a net of hexagons in pink on a black background and the name of the beer in a font that give reminiscence to the seventies.
Pours opaque murky, slightly dirty golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam. Struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit with tart, citric notes. Sweet peach and passion fruit. Citrus and grapefruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly intense and juicy Session IPA.
