Slightly acidic and well-balanced dark reddish-brown ale that is cellar-aged for many months on tart cherries. Deep, complex flavor that is both pleasantly sour and slightly sweet with notes of wood and almond.

As someone not generally taken to krieks, this beer totally knocked me back with it's subtlety, complexity and chameleon-like quality. Memories of my Dad's pipe tobacco and hints of spice, banana, and fermented fruitiness. Absolutely beautiful. Five stars aren't enough.
