The beer poured into the chalice crystl clear golden with a white head which bubbled up, but fell like a rock to become nothing at the surface of the beer.
The aroma was malty with a large caramel presence and cidery fruit aromas.
The flavor was cidery. The blend was more like a cyser than a wit and was not very well done at all. No real wheat presence or flavor and spices were very, very low and basically didn't make the trip from Holland.
The finish was dry with caramel and cider lasting long into the aftertaste. The body was medium. Not infected or old tasting, just poorly constructed. Skip it.
750 ml bottle, corked and bailed. Cork would not come out of the bottle without the assistance of a corkscrew. Purchased at Green's in Atlanta for $5.

Not like I was expecting. Pours a clear gold with fizzy, short-lived head. The aroma is really strong for a clear beer. Orange and Belgian strong ale yeast-spice waft up from the beer. The flavor is big orange fruitiness with more of the Belgian strong ale yeast-spice. I was expecting a subpar German Kristalweizen after noticing the lack of yeast in the bottle, but it turned out to me more of an unusual take on a Belgian wit.
