Cask at The Harp, London, England
A: The beer is black when viewed from afar but has dark red near the bottom when held up to a bright light. It poured with a short beige head that left a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of dark malts and cola are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell abut has stronger flavors of dark malts and cola along with notes of rum from the barrel aging.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the taste of this beer as it still tasted like a porter with some rum flavors that added complexity.
Serving type: cask
