Pours an unfiltered dark amber, with a tight peaked white head. Stunning on the nose - honey, apple, and a floral note of hops. Rounded and full on the tongue, biscuity malt with sweet apply hops. Some golden syrup, but a very neutral mouthfeel - fizzier than I expected, sweet without sticky. A slight savoury note towards the finish, redolent of a darker bitter, which lingers, bordering on bitterness but remaining neutral. Incredibly impressive for a 3.4% gluten-free pale.
