Poured from a pint can into a nonic.
Pours a pleasant orange-gold with a modest head but decent lacing.
Aromas of pale malt, a bit of honey and a touch of orange zest
Sweet honey-kissed malts on the tip of the tongue. Clean grain in midstream melded with present but restrained sweet orange flavors. This brew nails everything that makes the American Blonde such a great easy-drinker.
Medium-light body, but seems lighter, owing to some great carbonation and lift. The finish isn't crisp, but it's still drying and refreshing.
My first brew from this brewer. I'm really impressed. It nails everything that makes the American Blonde such a great easy-drinking style. It's very delicate on the flavor, it delivers on the orange without hitting you over the head with it, and it's very drinkable and refreshing. I could envision sitting on my deck or my boat with a sixer of these.
