Poured from a pint can into a Nonic.
Pours rather hazed. Ruby-red grapefruit color. A nice foamy head lingers and gives way to plenty of webbed lacing.
Mild aromas of berry and citrus.
Moderately sweet berry on the tip of the tongue along with very mild citrus. Grassy and peppery hop notes at the back end of the quaff.
Medium light in body, the carbonation is a little weak. Still, it achieves a drying finish overall. Not the summery brew I expected though.
It isn't a bad or offensive beer. It just isn't much better than a fruity AAL in the flavor department, and it falls flat on the mouth feel for sure.
