Got in a trade with GreenBayBA. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/3/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an awesome hazy IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Fantastic Citra profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering crisp dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Pretty close to being an NE style.

12oz can, snifter glass. Pours a cloudy light golden body, slight copper hue, frothy two finger white head, good retention and tons of lacing. Smell is crisp grapefruit and citrus zest, mild caramel sweetness, bit of herbal resin and pine. Straightforward, but with a nice juicy hop aroma. Not too sweet. Flavour follows, a bit more sweeter than the nose suggests, but overall nicely balanced, good grapefruit, zest and resin. Mild caramel sweetness that nicely stays in the background. Medium lighter bodied, good carbonation, fairly zesty bitterness, bits of grapefruit pulp and orange peel all the way through the end. Solid IPA, balanced with good hoppy flavours.
