16 oz can poured into a pint glass

A- A hazy golden straw with a small white head.

S- Tart, limes, touch of wheat, some salt, a little sweet, mild earthiness.

T- Tart, limes, some key lime pie sweetness, lime rinds, slightly earthy, just enough salt.

M- Smooth, light to medium body.

O- A nice refreshing gose, easy to drink. Limes work really well with this.

This beer pours a hazy/translucent golden color with a moderate white head that dissipated quickly. There is a strong aroma of fresh lime. The taste is predominately that of a nice tart/bitter key lime, with the right amount of sea salt. Overall, this is a very refreshing Summer brew.

Good head production; OK retention. Body is a beautiful lemon yellow shade; quite hazy, and nearly opaque.

Musty and sharp aroma up front, but then there is a strong, sweet kiss of Key lime that follows. Just a hint of salt. Really quite inviting aroma.

Very sour up front, and the sourness only grows, accented with moderate saltiness. The character of Key limes, as on the nose, grows throughout the second half, and finishes with a strong lime zest note. Modest sweetness; a little thicker than most Gose.

Very pleasant to drink, but not quite on the mark for the style. Somewhere in between a Gose and a fruited American Wild Ale.
