This beer pours a slightly cloudy golden-amber color, is quite effervescent and has a significant white head with above average retention. The aroma is very pleasant with most the notable scents of hops and pineapple. I consider the taste very bitter, even for an IPA. After the bitterness, the most predominant tastes are hops, grapefruit and pineapple.

16 ounce can poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

L---Slightly hazy, golden color. Giant, white head with very good retention and gorgeous lacing.

S---Hoppy dankness. A bit of malt for balance.

T---I'll admit that I have no idea what a white IPA is supposed to be. It's more malty than hoppy. Mild, vague fruit.

F--- medium/full bodied.

O---I legit don't know what this is supposed to be, so take my rating with a grain of salt.

It's a highly carbonated amber ale poured from a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass. The bubbles keep coming, so the modest head endures. The smell is a little bread-like, but there's not much more. The glass lacing is more pronounced than the head. Like most wheat based IPAs, this drinks as a Lite IPA. The body is thin and can't pull off the maltiness that works so well as a counterbalance to hops that barley often provides. For a wheat based beer, this isn't bad. It's got a decent hop presence and the finish is clean and on the dry side. There's no unpleasant residual taste, as in some wheat beers. It might make pleasant change of pace, but without the barley malt, it can't be great.
