Rye IPA is a sweet spot for me...darker, sweeter, rougher.
a) Cloudy, orange brown with strong tan head that lasts and laces eternally.
s) Rye is upfront. Malty, floral, woody.
t) Adds orange peel, almost dried rind, a bit of deep fruit cake, nicelly bitter balanced.
f) Fuller, bigger, creamier than most IPAs, hence my rye fandom
o) Need to bake tehse all off each other.

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass. Canned on 12/1/21, so not ideal, but I've had way worse.
L---Opaque orangey brown with a giant khaki head that had excellent retention and left gorgeous rings of lacing.
S---Hoppy. Rye is noticeable. A little floral with more maltiness than expected.
T---Strong malt backbone is most noticeable. Rye flavor is nicely done. Orange peel.
F---Medium, maybe slightly fuller bodied. Fairly light carbonation. A little bit of bitterness.
O---A really nice one. I'd definitely get this again.
