Empty a pint can into a clear glass liter mug and these results should occur. A mildly cloudy golden amber brew lays beneath a nearly stark white head. The head is modest and seemingly enduring. The beer will eventually leave some decent glass lacing. The aroma is much like a lager in its malt-hop profile, just a little earthier, or maltier. Whatever, it's not pungent at all. This drinks lightly and flavorfully. More bready sweet than hoppy, it does attempt the hybrid between ale and lager. Yet, the body is only marginally richer than a typical lager, but quite refreshing and enjoyable, nonetheless. Its taste is mostly of a lager, but it does have a bit of an ale like character to make it a little different. Not bad and easy to pound down, but it lacks enough body and ale taste character to make it a memorable Kolsch.
