Workhorse Brewing Co. "Watsy's Special Brew"
16 fl. oz. can "CANNED ON 04.26.22 09:45 436/7 MADE RIGHT" and sampled on 07.28.22
$3.50 @ Kunda Beverage, King of Prussia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: This is a "SESSION INDIA PALE ALE". It's a surprisingly very hazy yellow-gold beneath a finger's width of white foam. The aroma is hoppy with "dank" resins, pine, and mild herbs over a grainy malt base. It's not the brightest aroma but it's certainly OK for a "session IPA". The taste follows with some added fruitiness that's like apple, orange, and passionfruit. It's solidly bitter and finishes dry, earthy, spicy, and herbal. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp then smooth. The head has held up well and although I'm not even halfway through it I've got a solid, creamy surface covering and wide rings of lace marking each sip. This is a very nice, mostly old-old school IPA at a little bit of a lower alcohol. I'd call it a hopped up pale ale except for its substantial bitterness. Nicely done!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
