Brewed with peanut butter, coconut, and vanilla beans, there is enough residual fat in this beer that you can’t generate a head even if you try. I took a picture of this beer outside, and you can smell is from several feet away, even with the wind blowing. The aroma is so balanced, with all ingredients blending together really well. It smells like peanut, coconut candy bars, light roast coffee and vanilla frosting. Mouthfeel is like oil slick, and walks a fine line with its sweetness, but the strong bitter, espresso finish pulls it back from the brink.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small and rapidly descending head, and no lacing.
This one smells like roasty peanut butter, molasses, toasted sweet coconut, vanilla cream, milk chocolate fudge, and caramel.
The carbonation level is pretty low on this, but the flavor remains quite solid anyway. Peanut butter is the dominant feeling here, with some toastiness from the coconut and slight roasty character balancing things out slightly. That's not to say it's not sweet - it's very sweet - but it doesn't quite hit cloying territory.
This is my beer from Eight State, and there's certainly a lot of hype and expectation about their beers so far. I'd want a bit more carbonation here, probably, but it still tastes nice.
