A blend of imperial stouts aged in Willett Family Estate 6 Year Bourbon and Woodford Double Oak Barrels. The result is a play on German Chocolate Cake with deep bourbon buttercream icing.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with zero head. Looks like it's still. Small floaties roaming around, but I don't care. This looks delicious.

The nose is insane. Coconut, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, marshmallow, and a bit of maple doughnut.

The taste is marvelous. Chocolate truffle, marshmallow, slight roasted malts, vanilla for days, coconut, graham cracker, and some brown sugar. The barrel is there for sure, but doesn't dominate.

The mouthfeel...oh the mouthfeel. So thick and creamy. Fluffy. The aftertaste is rich vanilla ice cream. Wish I had another bottle.
