Brownish black opaque body with a medium dark head. Giant vanilla lush nature leading the nose with the cassia bark, bourbon barrel and semi sweet chocolate. Taste starts pretty much the same, getting some cinnamon tones maybe a hint of marshmallow, the bourbon brings some molasses but not much else of the barrel as the vanilla is just very strong. Mouthfeel is mark by warmth, sneaky thick while not being that heavy. One of the better beers I have had from eighth state

Tod is an Imperial Sweet Stout with Cassia Bark, Ecuadorian Vanilla, and Vanuatu Vanilla. Fermented and Aged Two Years and One Month in a Colonel E. H. Taylor Barrel.

Liquid cinnamon roll with the perfect amount of thiccness and mouthfeel. Strong barrel on the nose but incredible smooth and rich. Perfection.
