Poured charcoal black, highly viscous with absolutely no head present. Very heavy bananas at the nose, it’s actually quite delightful! Not too over-ripen and sweet. Also notes of cocoa, lending a decadent aroma. Upon tasting, I could tell how well the bananas carried over. Not overwhelming; it is just there. Also tons of Oreo cookies; none of the white filling, just the chocolate. Disappointedly I did not pick up any coconut. But it doesn’t really take away the complexity of this beer. Still tons of depth between the bananas and Oreos. Mouthfeel is super thick, thicker than molasses! With almost no carbonation. Overall, the added bananas was just brilliant. But I never thought I would say this, I found the beer too thick. I’m not looking to drink a milk shake.
