Barleywine aged in a Widow Jane Lucky 13 Year Single Barrel for Two Years before being finished on small amounts of Caramel and Dates. Halawi, Honey, Khadrawi, and Barhi Dates used.

Very dark brown body, somewhat clear, no head. Smells of mostly bourbon and caramel nose with light date. OK so taste it starts like the nose but then as hyper sweet dates dipped in honey, with another wave of very sweet caramel, honeycomb, malt, and a hint of barley that has been saturated in bourbon. Feel is thick but light, leans very warm, little bit of sweetness starts to cloy as you go down the glass. Cool idea, but hyper sweet in reality
