Opaque dull black with a bubbly tan ring.
While I'm definitely getting that cassia, it amplifies the boozy ABV of the beer. This unflattering combo in turn emulates a minty and even grassy bitterness that's fairly intense despite it's overlay of sweet viscosity.
Although there's a barely mitigating exhale of walnut and wafer, the super sticky finish seals the deal that this is yet another sweet mess by a brewery that specializes in such.
