Received a bottle in a trade from BMBCLT on 4-1-23. 2023 Collaboration; consumed 1-1-2024. Been mostly cold stored since acquisition.
Beer poured black with virtually no head.
Nose is very nice, vanilla and nut city all the way.
Taste is a large mildly roasted malt base that is overwhelmed with vanilla. Nut adjuncts try to give some sort of balance but the vanilla overwhelms. Hopping is very minimal and not much of a factor leading to a cloying finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and kind of smooth.
Overall having this beer for dessert and it is definitely sweet.
