Pitch black pour, no head save some brown islands. Smell is laced with bourbon, molasses, and vanilla, background tones of raisin, rye, dark chocolate fudge. This reminds me of bourbon county vanilla, rye (the good version) but leans more into the lush vanilla and chocolate tones, sweeter edge to it. Feel is silky, smooth, with a creamy and warm body. Best eighth state I have had by far

Poured at fridge temp. This has aged for almost 4 years in the bottle and I never tried it fresh. Pours a very viscous black - like super thick old engine oil that has been in the engine for 20,000 miles. Coconut flakes are present and quickly float to the top.

The nose is amazing. Coconut, vanilla, milk chocolate, rye spice, marshmallow, and prunes.

The taste is out of this world. Vanilla for days. Coconut, chocolate, toffee, maple doughnut, truffle, raisin, plum, and slight blackberry. Just lovely.

The mouthfeel is thick as hell. Almost at the point of being creamy. The aftertaste is sweet vanilla and toffee.
