Brownish black body with a lighter brown ring. Aromas of tons of bourbon, some sweeter with brown sugar and molasses tones and some more rugged with char, dark wet wood, and earth tones, leads the smell and taste. The nose has date, raisin, coconut, vanilla, and caramelized barley all folding into the barrels. Taste starts with the barrels which never fade away but definitely take a back seat to the adjuncts, especially caramelized date, coconut and vanilla, but it works because the barrels apply enough ruggedness to balance. Feel leans lush and cool overall, here the barrels are cut the most, but still full and heavy and very smooth
