Does not taste like a Helles. Tastes like a lager crossed with a hefferveisen but it's flat. Got some weird sour flavor as well. Not a clean mouthfeel, not very light and crisp. Again it almost tastes like a hef but still has the sweeter feel of a lager which makes the overall impression heavy and cloying. Not want I wanted on a hot day, and it wasn't cheap!

Pour is a crystal clear bright pale yellow. Finger of white head with. Slow average retention for the style.
Nose is doughy, lightly toasted bread, hint of corn. Subtle grassy hops
Taste is malt forward - doughy, bready, hint of grassy hops. Drinks nicely. Good beer. Smooth, crisp, and refreshing

It looks all wrong, very cloudy gold. It should be clear for the style. Had about half a finger of white head after an aggressive hard pour. No retention or lacing. Smells strange, cooked corn, lemon, lots of sulphur…weird.
Very low carbonation, almost flat. It’s flavor in no way resembles a Helles.
I taste some caramel malt but there’s a corn adjunct flavor going on. It may not contain any adjunct just a bad brewing process. There’s some sort of citrus hops as well.
It taste like some of my bad homebrew experiments.
Buy a single if you want to try it. Glad I didn’t waste money on a 4-pack.

A: Pours a pale yellow color. A small white head forms and recedes quickly to a smaller ring. Light lace is left behind.
S: A neutral aroma, with cereal grains and that is about it. Not a lot of depth here, just kind of inoffensively absent.
T: Again, light grains and cereal. There is a surprising caramel like sweetness going on. The bare minimum of grassy hops in the background. Which is to say, not bad, but just not a lot here to grab on to.
M/O: A light body that is clean with moderate carbonation. Again, just kind of there. Certainly not hard to drink, and this doesn't challenge you in any way. Which might be the point. So a good summer porch sipper for what its worth.
This is just average in almost every way. My score might actually be a bit high for what it is, while not bad, just unremarkable. I couldn't even really pick out much Lager characteristics, and with the caramel maltiness I got, it seems to have more in common with a non hoppy Pale Ale. At least to me.

Pours a clear golden color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Aroma of cereal grains, corn, mild honey and some German yeast. Crisp taste with honey, cereal grains and German yeasts. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
