The best Altbier I've come across. It was a great loss when Klaus closed.

A nice fizzy American take on an altbier, leaning toward a brown ale. After the first one I ordered another one.

Pours a clear copper color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Aroma of German yeasts and nuttiness. Very malty taste with German yeasts and nuttiness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
