No idea what the difference is between this and the tripel H or pils...but they were amazingly good so hopefully this is too.
Lots and lots of head. Needs an IPA glass, not a Krombacher pilsner glass that I got free with a Krombacher multipack! Looks totally like a Duvel, simlar to the Tripel H. Maybe a bit more cloudy. Recently I have learnt to prefer the more Duvel coloured as opposed to cloudy.
No idea if this is supposed to be a pilsner or an IPA. Aroma is in between a Czech pilsner and a West Coast IPA.
Really impressive taste. Rose, strawberries and lime peel dominate. And tangerines. Maybe some tinned peaches. All kinds of different fruits and herbs.
Taste is amazing, not sure what the difference is between this and the Tripel H. I will have to try them both together. But I think I preferred that, just. Really complex mouth feel...as you drink it, you get so many flavours on the tongue. It is amazing. Tingly and bitter and cytrussy and rose, flowery and fruity...it's pretty amazing. So perfect score for mouth feel for sure.
Probably the best Romanian brewers in my opinion, Clusa close behind. Ursus and United really need to try this and learn some lessons. But likely they only care about money. Sapte Coline however care about quality, and it's also not so much more expensive than an Ursus. So infinite respect, I shall keep buying these beers whenever I see them. Still not too sure what Hhazard means or what kind of beer it is supposed to be, but I don't care ; )
American West Coast IPA's are often better than this. But considering how far away from America and how unique these Sapte Coline beers are, it should be regarded in a similar way.

A fairly simple pale ale.
