Moderate beige head which settles to film and leaves some spots for lace. The liquid is brown where light passes easily along the edge of the glass.
Chalky and chocolatey in equal measure. Distant sweet cherry in the background.
Highly carbonated with a neutral body. Dark chocolate flavor with a touch of metal. There's a decent amount of bitterness at the finish from the hop. The beer, according to the can, contains oats and rye. The latter giving a dryer flavor than expected. There are cinnamon overtones even though I don't believe this beer contains any spices.
