Oddly labelled as a "bière noire" (black beer), but the side says, "Stout à l'avoine", or Oatmeal Stout.

Small, large-bubbled head that settles to no bubbles and leaves no lace whatsoever. The liquid is near black but faint light will pass along the edge.
Dry almost like cardboard. There's a faint metallic smell. Even fainter chocolate.
Not as rich as most Oatmeal Stouts. The elevated carbonation doesn't help. There's a mild burnt malt flavor along with the (stronger than the smell) iron presence although this does fade over the course of the tasting. There's a pleasant hop bitterness in the swallow creating a longer aftertaste.
