Loads of fresh berry and dark red wine in the aroma. Hints of dark chocolate and cranberry intertwine with heavy charred oak. Smooth vanilla with delayed heat in the finish.

Pours slightly darker than unpasteurized cider. Nose is fairly subdued - just some vinous notes come out. Taste expresses oak tannins and vinous notes. Not much of the malt profile comes out. Mouthfeel is light-medium with a kiss of astringency and an assertive carbonation. Overall, decent but it doesn't come together in my opinion.
