look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.25
Had this one at tap at Herkimer.
A- Pours golden-orange with a one finger head. Fairly clear, may be a slight haze to it.
S- Fruity, a bit of sweetness. It's mostly fruity, but as it warms it starts coming off a bit perfumy. At first I would have given it a 4 for smell, but as I get near the bottom, closer to 3.25, so I'll round up the average.
T- Yeah it kind of tastes perfumey and I'm really not getting the rye, which would be nice, because a little spice or other note like that would have been a nice counterpoint it.
M- Medium light, almost foamy.
O- I like most Herkimer beers, but this one I will have to pass on.
