On tap at the Herkimer. This beer arrives a hazy pale golden color. The head is an fluffy inch of white foam that recedes very slowly leaving rings of lacing along the sides of the glass. The aroma is a nice balance of biscuity malt, and spicy hops. The taste leans more toward the spicy, green noble hop character, but still has a solid bready malt maltiness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation, and a smooth texture. Overall, this is a fine pilsener that I would drink again.

Gold in color with a foamy head and light prickle. Very light flavor. The nose is not really worth describing its so absent. Almost no flavor upon impact. Mild grain flavor in the taste and mostly clean finish. This is definitely an appeal to the masses type of beer. The Herkimer needs some of those though as its a diverse type of crowd and surely lots of folks "tag along" with friends.

I came into the Herkimer to try some of their brews during happy hour and this one stuck with me. Looked straw yellow and gold with a white head and a little retention. Smelled of sour bread and malts. The slightly funky malts remained with the flavor and mixed with earthy hops and a touch of malty sweetness. All in all, a satisfying and damn drinkable beer. Make sure to give it a try if you stop by.

Standard clear yellow in color, somewhat pale with a thick medium sized head of bright white frothy puffed cream that fades some to leave a solid haze on top and lots of lace in sheets. Smell is light crispy sweet malts with a small mineral/herbal sense, alot like what your hands smell like after working in the garden, plants and dirt but in a lighter sense. Taste is nice lightly frothy sweet malts with crisp herbal hops, a bit musty with a crisp easy finish. Feel is lighter, fairly close to medium body, light dry and crisp finish, pretty simple yet approachable, refreshing, and moderately enjoyable.
