Served with a finger of white head. Color is a slightly hazed pale yellow.
Aroma: grains and some pale malts. A light citrus flavor. Mild hop presence.
Taste: Much like the nose, with the exception of the herkimer house flavor. It wasn't as noticeable in this beer, but it still shows. Malty, grainy, light citrus and some grassy hops.
Mouthfeel: Crisp with a little bitterness. Light bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Ends dry.
Overall, not bad, but not good. Somewhat easy to drink. I wish it didn't have the off flavor, however.

This beer arrives a clear light golden color. The head is one inch of bright white foam that recedes very slowly into a firm cap of lacing that lasts until the beer is gone, and leaves rings of lacing all down the sides of the glass. The aroma is of bready malt, with a pleasant spiciness. The taste is similar to the aroma, but with a bit more spicy noble hops. The mouthfeel is slightly lighter than medium bodied with a velvety texture, and lively carbonation. Overall, this is a very nice kolsch that I will surely drink again.

Pale gold color with a wispy head of lacing. Malty nose that seems to have some wheat and barley tones about it. The attack is refreshing and light. The flavor is malty and simple. Not a lot of bittering or even grains to offset an easy malt smoothness. The finish is clean. Rather unspectacular, but not at all bad. As average as average gets. The Herkimer is the brewpub of choice in the cities for lager lovers though.

Poured a bright and clear yellow with very little head. Some lacing left on the glass surface.
Just a little malt and a very faint hop aroma is present.
The flavor is very mild with light malt and just a whisp of hops around on the finish.
Light body with good carbonation.
A nice warm day beer. This beer will dissapear from the glass in very little time. I suspect the ABV is very low as well to aid in drinkability.
