Canned on 11/23/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; small khaki head that fades quickly leaving okay retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Hints of cocoa. Some nuts. Very mild spice. The flavors follow the nose. More cocoa along with some hints of chocolate. The walnuts, pecans and chestnuts do their thing. Mild and subtle hints of cinnamon and spices. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy and smooth.
This is a solid oatmeal stout. I just wish that the cinnamon was more prominent.
