Okay, this beer was a gusher. It seems I got an unlucky draw when I grabbed a single can from the store. I'm going to try not completely slam the beer because of it because it. This is surprisingly first gusher that I've ever encountered.
Canned on 11/23/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. A gentle pour had the carbonation swirling out of control and going nuts. The foamy head grew out of control, but eventually falls after making a mess. Pours a hazy glowing burnt golden. The aromas have a lots of pear along with some green apples. Some bananas and candied sugar. Hints of orange. Yeasts and malts do their thing. Flavors follow the nose. More pear and green apples. There's surprisingly not a lot of orange going on, but it's there. More candied sugars. Yeasts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with very active carbonation. It's very spritzy and sharp.
Well it still ended up being drinkable despite being a gusher. The aromas and flavors didn't seem infected and are actually enjoyable. It was pretty enjoyable despite the mess. I unfortunately have to knock it a bit from a score standpoint, but fortunately my experience seems to be an outlier based on me researching other experiences. I'd obviously give it a higher score if it wasn't for the issues, but the enjoyable aromas and flavors kept the "numerical score" somewhat afloat.
