Sometimes I find a brew I wish I picked more of up. This is one of them very sweet chocolate not too milk chocolate a lot of dark chocolate but sweet vanilla and hazelnuts make for a very pleasant drinking experience. Price was solid as well it was 3 something a can. If I see it again I will surely pick up a sixer! Well done!

Canned on 2/5/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; small dark khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Hints of banana and cocoa. The flavors are rich. They're sweet and bitter. Lots of chocolate. Nice blend of dark chocolate and chocolate syrup. Subtle nuttiness, but the hazelnuts don't exactly shine or come through like I might've expected. More hints of banana in the mix. Mild warmth in the finish, but it's not hot or boozy at all. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's interesting because it feels thick one second and thin the next. It's slick and smooth.
This is a pretty solid "pastry stout". It's bold, sticky and rich without being cloyingly sweet or over the top. I wish the hazelnuts made more of an impact, but they nailed the chocolate aspects. It's enjoyable stuff. Not bad at all.
