Appearance is dark brown throughout the central pillar, but also almost red around the edges, all under a creamy light tan head that settles to a persistent espresso foam blanket that curls at the rim.
The nutty malt here has an amaretto vibe to it, and even a strange almost licorice sweetness. It's not quite where I want a dunkel to be, but it's still satisfying.
The round fluffy body has a cleansing semi-dry finish, where the exhale is also a bit leafy, similar in this area to their Czech dark lager.
