12 ounce can, canned on 09/30/2021. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a little while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like coffee, along with some roasted malt, chocolate, oats and nuttiness. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt and caramel flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good overall brew, certainly worth a try if you get the chance. Bought a single can here about a month ago so I know there's still some around, at least in Columbus anyway.

I had been meaning to check out this brewer. I drove by once but I could not stop. So now I have a cool sample, but for my first Bookhouse it has to be one that I have to add to BA. Oh well.
It pours a little thin with loads of head that keeps coming. The aroma and taste are well balanced coffee and not too roasty malts. It doesn't feel thin but it is fairly light. A nice combo.
Recommended. I will ask my dealer for more Bookhouse.
