Our Third Anniversary beer pushes at the limits of IPA, by incorporating a thiol-liberating yeast strain, which produces profound gooseberry, passionfruit, tropical aromas. In concert with the massive piling of tropical fruit hop aromas, the end result is bright, big, and intense. Blur the lines and take the time to savor this complex IPA for an entirely new drinking experience. Made with Berkeley Yeast Hornindal Thiol, Citra, Lupomax Bru-1, and Australian Galaxy hops.

Pours a very hazy and turbid dark golden color, minimal head. Massive grapefruit aroma. Citrusy, but mainly grapefruit, with passion fruit and mango. Flavor follows nose - it’s like drinking alcoholic grapefruit juice. Tons of grapefruit flavor, some passion fruit, bitterness is minimal. Carbonation adds to a creamy texture. Overall, I have never tasted a beer quite like this. Very unique. 11.2% abv is pretty well hidden. Glad I tried it.
