Ale Spike Camano Island Brewing

I visited Ale Spike last weekend, and it was a great find. They had 9 house beers on tap plus a selection of guest beers and ciders. Their beers are a reasonable mix of classic styles. The festbier was quite good, but for me the standout was the Copper Penny high-ABV amber (about 7.2%): well executed, and a good example of a style that’s not typically my favorite.

Taproom a rural garage in the middle of nowhere. They have a TV and also a collection of VHS tapes and vinyl, and were playing some great 90s music when I was there. The brewhouse itself is in the same room as the taproom - very cool; I always like that. There is also a putting green outside - an amenity rarely seen in a brewery! The seating area itself is small, only about 5-6 tables, but there's a little outdoor area as well.
