Don't let this one fool you. Under all the rich caramel flavor and creamy body lies a beast in disguise. Feels like you're back at Grandma's...only this time Grandma happens to be a big bad wolf.

16oz can. No dating information found. Brewed in collaboration with 'Juxta Nomad', and labeled as a 'Pastry Stout'.
Black colored body, with red mahogany back lit edge. One thin finger of light tan head. Leaves behind spots and strings of lacing.
Aroma is sweet caramel over roasted malts.
Taste has a base of roasted chocolate malts but the main flavor star is the sweet caramel, with an icing of berry fruit such as raspberry. Has a touch of a gourmet marshmallow. Definitely sweet but not to the point of causing a tooth ache. Vanilla chocolate in the aftertaste.
Thicker mouth feel. Has a touch of stickiness. No alcohol mouth burn but certainly can feel the alcohol effects in the stomach and on the brain. Supportive carbonation.
All listings on untappd are under the brewer name of 'Juxta Nomad'. Really has a high level of caramel flavor. Recommend as a sipper to spread out the alcohol effect.
