Listed at 8.5%. Canned August 8, 2024. Out of retirement perhaps. Durand purchase and served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Super hazy, yellowy white brew with honey brown highlights. Three fingers of foamy white head and good staying power. Juice-like in appearance.
Smell - Citrus punch up front that is a bit subdued buy passionfruit and guava seem to be the stars here with a medley of supporting citrus members.
Taste - Juicy flavors, passionfruit again leading the way with some orange and a hint of grapefruit at the back end providing for a balanced kick. Leans sweet, but very balanced. Delicious wheat malt backbone and booziness is low.
Mouthfeel - Medium full bodied with low carbonation and a juicy finish. Easy drinking and ABV well disguised but what gives it away is the warmth at the back of the throat.
Overall - A top notch example of the Wood Brothers brewing prowess. Excellent DIPA.
