473ml can served cool into an oversized wine glass. Durand purchase and listed at 8.5%. Canned October 3, 2024.
Appearance - Super turbid and juicy looking IPA with over two fingers of light foamy head. Very good retention and very juice-like in appearance with hues of orange and honey brown.
Smell - Sweet and tropical with peach apricot and orange leading the way. A hint of grape too.
Mouthfeel - Juice bomb with sweet mango and lychee, hints of grape, soft peach underbelly and then some bitter papaya maybe. Peach apricot on the nose is dialed back while the other flavors are intensified. Very juicy with a certain dankness too. Exploding with flavor. Booze well hidden.
Mouthfeel - Fully bodied but juicy with low carbonation and very crushable for a DIPA.
Overall - Just really well put together, highlighting all the best things about NEIPA's. Fruity and juicy with intense flavors and aromas, easy to drink and crushable. This might be the best one yet from the Wood Brothers.
