Review from notes. Served cold into a pint glass. Purchase from Durand. Canned within the last month.
Appearance - Very hazy orangey brew with golden highlights. Nice head as well - almost two fingers and decent retention.
Smell - Mango, grapefruit and melon combo is quite nice, alhough not quite as intense as expected.
Taste - Melon followed by mango then a nice bitter grapefruit kick. More bitter than the nose would suggest, but well integrated. Strong malty backbone there once the citrus runs off.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied and modestly carbonated, almost sticky but doesn't quite reach that level. Booze is well integrated and doesn't stand out. Amazingly crushable for a DIPA.
Overall - Yet another excellent DIPA from Wood Brothers. This falls somewhere in the middle for me, but they've all been somewhere between very, very good an and outstanding. Crop Duster is another.
